TURNING OVER THE YEAR

As 2011 is within hours of rolling to 2012, the blog writer wishes all the Post membership a very healthy, safe and prosperous New Year. May all your wishes come true in the coming year and may your New Year resolutions become successful. And, while you are making resolutions, how about resolving to attend as many Legion monthly meetings as possible this coming year - we need your participation!!!

As your Editor reflects on the Blog for the past year, one of his two goals was achieved. When he originally launched the Blog for the Post, he hoped to continue to post here on a regular basis, which so far he has. Of course, in 2009, there were only 30 postings, but the Blog was not born until October 17th, so that was in a 2-1/2 month time frame. In 2010, his goal was to post at least twice per week, or 104 times minimum. Final tally was 103 postings, falling just ONE shy of the minimum goal. Then this year, your editor wanted to step that up to a minimum of 3 postings a week, or 156 total. With this final post, there were 160 separate posts here for the year - goal achieved.

The second resolution, was to try to make the Blog as useful and interesting as time permitted. For that, only you the readers can be the judge. A number of new items and changes took place this year on the Blog and hopefully you have enjoyed, used or looked at all of the them. And, it is the Editor's hope that you found some of it helpful or interesting. And, that you will come back next year for more. So, Happy New Year to all the Post's members & family and to all other readers this year. Look forward to seeing you here in 2012 as we put 2011 in the history books.
