Today, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we remember that "date that will live in infamy" that led to World War II. Hopefully we will take a moment to thank some of our own members at Post 463, who due to the attack on December 7th of 1941, stepped up to serve their country during WWII. Although all our Veterans are to be honored for service to their country when needed, today these Veterans are deservedly singled out.Our WWII era members are Sim Bates, Henry Bisco, Wilmer Blunier, Lloyd DeGiovanni, Walter Fehr, William "Bill" Fehr, Jimmie France, Virgil Funk, Stanley Hodel, Charles Leman, Joe Martino, Glen W Miller, Willard Reiner, Harold Roth, Gerald "Jerry" Sauder, Fred Schramm, Victor Wagner and Eldon Witt. If they see this message posted here - "thank you for serving". But, since most won't, how about YOU taking the time to call a couple and thank them? They don't expect it, but they do deserve it! (Sorry to say that because this posting is available for anyone world-wide to view, more information like addresses or phone numbers can't be included here)
